Theater

Our Theater Program is created to establish a love for performing. We understand that the art of pretending on stage can come with stage freight, doubt, and fear. We encourage all students to work through these emotions and be the best actor they can be. There are many different facets to the acting world and so many kinds of classes to offer. Right now, we offer acting classes for ages 6- adult. During each class the students participate in vocal warmups, games, monologues, and other activities that encourage creative characters.

Our theater program consist of the following classes:

Acting (ages 6-adult)
This class is where students learn how to project, enunciate, stage commands, build character, facial expressions, and much more!
Our acting students can audition to be a main, supporting, and/or ensemble members in our June Production as well as perform in our Annual Holiday Showcase in December.

Musical Theater (ages 8-18)
This class is a Broadway style class that brings the world of dancing, singing, and acting together. Learning to sing and read music all well dancing and acting as a certain character is a big part of this class. Students MUST be enrolled in a jazz or contemporary dance class to be enrolled in this class.

Voice (ages 8+)
This class is designed to help our students know how to read music, enhancing their tune, pitch, volume, all while practicing to sing as a group and individually.
