Ballet (ages 2+):

Creative Ballet 

This class is an entry level to our Pre-Ballet class where the kids learn the early fundamentals of ballet through interactive and fairy tale songs. We use tons of imagination play by turning ourselves into all kinds of fairies and creatures as we learn the basics of ballet. While most of our classes are level-based, this class is designed for ages 2-3 years old.

Pre-Ballet

During this class we focus deeper into the proper fundamentals of ballet. We start class center floor and spend time on ballet positions and proper stretching. We begin to discuss the benefits of good posture and soft fingers for future ballet levels. Throughout the class we spend time at the barre, across the floor, and learning fun routines that help us understand and love the art of ballet. While most of our classes are level-based, this class is designed for ages 3-5 years old. Tippy Toes are the only requirement for this class 😊 

Ballet Level Classes

Ballet is stressed as a graceful yet strong dance. The students are challenged to better their positions, posture, and arms to help them master skills. Each class spends time at the barre, where ballet technique is drilled and encouraged. Class time will also be spent on stretching to enhance their flexibility needed for future levels. Ballet jumps, leaps, and turns, as well as feet combinations across the floor are standard work done in each class. We currently have three Ballet levels and we start these level based classes at age 6.
