Tap Classes (ages 6+)

Tap Level 1

Tap is the creation of music with ones feet. This is a great class for those that love to tap their toes and create beats wherever they go! We start each class with a warm-up song to get our feet moving to the beat of the music. Then we move to the barre to understand the basics of a shuffle and how to use the bottom of our feet appropriately in making different sounds. Across the floor we work on all flaps, flap heels, buffalo’s, maxi ford’s and combinations of these together. The best part of class is putting all our moves and rhythm together to create fun routines. Come try out a class, you might be surprised at how much you like it!
